Dan Harrison is a veteran guide and outdoorsman and native Coloradan. Dan is also an expert tracker for trophy mule deer, elk and bear, having helped score numerous hunters into the record books over his 30-year career. From horseback hunts, to five-star tent camps, to Boone and Crockett rankings, Harrison’s pursuits are a year-round passion and one of his greatest achievements is helping introduce over 400 youth and women to the ethical sport of hunting. And not one to let moss grow, Harrison also deals with various governmental agencies in providing, maintaining, and managing habitat on Private lands for endangered species.

“I was introduced to Jeff Crane about 18 years ago. This has developed a friendship and a deep understanding of the great work that Congressional Sportsman’s Foundation Provides. This Organization is our 'big brother' behind the scenes doing the work and fighting for our outdoor heritage! I’m very honored and excited to be added to their 'Ambassador' program." - Dan Harrison

A key component of the American System of Conservation Funding, the Pittman- Robertson Act directs excise taxes on firearms, ammo, and archery equipment to wildlife conservation. Since its inception in 1937 the Act has generated more than $12 billion towards conservation. However, there has been a loss of 5 million hunters in the past decade. One proposed solution to help fund conservation is to dedicate lottery proceeds for conservation purposes. Would you support this effort in your state?
