CSF Introduces Ambassador Program at SHOT Show 2018

On January 24, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) hosted a reception during the 2018 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, which brought together pro-sportsmen legislators, industry representatives, sportsmen’s groups, and outdoor celebrities to support the mission of CSF in protecting and advancing hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping.

Following remarks from CSF Board Chairman Paul Miller, CSF President Jeff Crane announced the launch of the organization’s first official Ambassador, country musician Lucas Hoge.

“CSF is proud to unveil our newly formed Ambassador program at the 2018 SHOT Show. We are incredibly honored to officially welcome Lucas into the CSF family,” said Crane. “For nearly 30 years, CSF has been defending our outdoor sporting heritage in the halls of government across the country. Lucas’ passion for hunting and fishing and his dedication to sharing its importance to conservation, is a perfect complement to the mission of CSF. We look forward to this new relationship and helping Lucas further advocate for America’s sportsmen and women.”

“It is great to [partner with] people like yourselves who are forging ahead for conservation that our country needs and for sportsmen and women,” said Hoge. “It is just amazing for me to be here. I really appreciate all that you do and look forward to helping out.”

SHOT Show is the largest firearms trade show, hosted by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Title Sponsors of CSF’s Reception included Bass Pro Shops, FN America, Hornady Manufacturing, National Shooting Sports Foundation, United Sporting Companies, and Vista Outdoor Inc. The reception Co-Host Sponsor was Athlon Outdoors.
