Washington Sportsmen’s Caucus Hosts Luncheon

On Tuesday, February 5, the Washington Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus gathered at the State Capitol in Olympia to discuss sportsmen’s issues with hunting, recreational fishing and shooting and trapping groups from throughout the state. Hosted by Senator Pam Roach and sponsored by the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) and the Northwest Sportfish Industry Association, the Washington luncheon also provided an opportunity to welcome new legislators to the fold and highlight the benefits of participating in the state’s sportsmen’s caucus. National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses (NASC) Executive Council Member Representative Sal Esquivel made the trip to Olympia from Oregon to address the crowd and provide insight into the benefits that his state has realized as the result of forming a NASC-affiliated sportsmen’s caucus.
