Congressional Events
Annual Banquet & Auction
The Annual Banquet & Auction provides an opportunity for the outdoor sporting community, supporters, and friends of CSF to recognize the tremendous work of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus (CSC) in keeping sportsmen in the field. Leaders of the sportsmen and conservation communities meet with and acknowledge attending Members of Congress for their efforts on legislation regarding sportsmen.
Congressional Clays Competition & Industry Challenge
This annual competition gives teams from the outdoor industry the chance to compete against other industry teams for ultimate bragging rights.
Additionally, this yearly event allows members of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus, Democrats against the Republicans in a friendly skeet, trap, and sporting clays shooting competition to determine the “Top Guns” in Congress. Representatives of the conservation community and associated industry supporters also attend this event.
August Recess Clays Competition
The August Recess Clays Competition is designed to bring Congressional staff and the sportsmen’s community together for a fun day out of the office to learn about and experience firsthand the fun and camaraderie provided by participating in the recreational shooting sports.

Your opinion counts
Studies conducted at both the state and federal level have found that the number of hunters and trappers have been on a generally declining trend over the past several decades. To increase recruitment, retention, and reactivation (R3) of hunters and trappers, which initiative do you think would have the greatest impact?
