Joseph Bachar

Joe joined the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) in May of 2022 as the New England States Coordinator. As a part of the States Program Team, Joe works closely with the legislative sportsmen’s caucuses in the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses and members of the Governors Sportsmen’s Caucus in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Joe also spent the spring of 2022 with CSF as a Brad Rowse Policy Intern in the D.C. office.

Joe graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May of 2022 with Bachelor of Science in conservation biology and political science. While earning his degrees, Joe worked on a number of research projects dealing with conservation issues such as invasive species management and several other topics such as air quality control and energy policy. He also spent a semester interning with a Wisconsin lobbying firm where he worked closely with state and local officials on a wide range of policy topics and media monitoring.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Joe has spent many weekends fishing for bass, crappie, and walleye and loves to spend time on the water. He is a passionate outdoorsman and also enjoys hiking, camping, and bird watching.
