Representing the fifth generation in his family’s wholesale distribution companies, Tripper Dickson currently leads Sports South as President and CEO. The distribution businesses focused in the pharmaceutical and shooting sports industries have been rooted in Shreveport, Louisiana and operated by the family since 1841.
At Sports South, the country’s leading shooting sports wholesale distributor, Tripper is applying his previous professional experience in investment banking, his drive for continuing the family legacy, and his passion for hunting and the outdoors in operating all facets of the business.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, summa cum laude in economics and finance and his M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
From the box stands to the bayous, enjoying Louisiana’s great outdoors with his family has been central in Tripper’s life. He is determined to ensure this same opportunity exists for future generations.
