Tim Phillips is the Owner and President of P & S Paving in Florida’s Volusia County. Since 1993, Tim has overseen the business aspects of P&S, which has been responsible for such projects as One Daytona, the Daytona Rising makeover of DIS, and the laying of the foundation for Daytona Beach’s First Step Shelter.
Having studied Business Administration and Finance at the University of Central Florida, Tim entered the workforce in 1989 as a Corporate Lender for SunTrust Bank. 4 years later, He and his brother Todd co-founded P&S Paving. Over the following years, P&S has grown to employ over 250 individuals and it completes approximately 200 projects per year.
In addition to his paving interests, Tim is also an owner of the Phillips Ranch, a 6000-acre high fence property in Bunnell, Florida. The ranch, which is currently in the process of obtaining an agricultural proception easement, is home to a lodge, 5 cabins, a horse arena, and a cattle business which numbers over 200 head.
In his free time, Tim serves several organizations including Halifax Health Board of Commissioners, Gateway Bank Board of Directors, Daytona State College Foundation Board, and the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council. Tim is married to Lisa Phillips, and they have three children: Chandler (26), Colton (24), and Skylar (19). Tim’s sporting pursuits include deer hunting and tuna fishing.
