On August 25, Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus (CSC) Member the Honorable John McCain passed away at the age of 81.
As a proud member of the CSC and representative of Arizona, Senator McCain supported multiple bills to help protect and advance hunting, angling and the many other activities that America’s sportsmen and women enjoy. In 2015, he was the recipient of the Federal Advocate of the Year award from the Arizona Game and Fishing Commission. Sen. McCain voted for the permanent reauthorization of the Land and Water Conservation fund as well as the Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act.
Thoughts and prayers go out to Sen. McCain’s family as we remember his commitment to the people of Arizona, the sportsmen’s community, and our country.
