Inter-Mountain Western States: 2019 Legislative Session Review

Throughout the Inter-Mountain Western Region, the 2019 legislative sessions have concluded. As a result of the dedicated work by the bipartisan legislative sportsmen’s caucuses across the region, partners, and the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF), several pieces of pro-sportsmen legislation have been enacted to law. With the 2019 legislative session behind us, CSF will continue to work to protect and advance hunting, angling, trapping and recreational shooting throughout the nation in preparation for the 2020 legislative session and beyond.

Studies conducted at both the state and federal level have found that the number of hunters and trappers have been on a generally declining trend over the past several decades. To increase recruitment, retention, and reactivation (R3) of hunters and trappers, which initiative do you think would have the greatest impact?
