The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF), the nation’s leading bipartisan organization working to protect and advance hunting, angling, recreational shooting, trapping, and professional fish and wildlife management, announced today that Devin Mariano has joined the organization as Senior Coordinator, Northeastern States. In this role, Devin will work with State Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucuses and Governors Sportsmen’s Caucus members throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island to advance policies that support America’s outdoor sporting traditions and conservation.
Devin brings a strong background in biology and a lifelong connection to the outdoors to his new role with CSF. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology, where his academic work included ecology, field research, environmental sampling and population surveys.
“I am excited to join the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation and have the opportunity to work on behalf of the sportsmen and women who contribute so much to conservation and our outdoor heritage,” said Devin. “I cannot picture who I would be without the influence of the outdoors in my life.”
Devin has been fishing, hunting, and exploring the woods and waters of the Northeast since childhood, and has developed a passionate and strong appreciation for the region’s diverse natural resources. His academic background in biology further strengthens his understanding of ecosystems, wildlife, and the importance of science-based conservation.
Through this new role with CSF, Devin will work to strengthen relationships with policymakers and sportsmen’s organizations across the Northeast while supporting the organizations’ efforts to ensure that sportsmen’s voices are represented in state policy discussions.
