On March 24, Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) President Jeff Crane joined other prominent members of the sportsmen’s community in Denver, Colorado for the Council to Advance the Hunting and Shooting Sports Board of Directors meeting. Formed by conservation leaders to explore new opportunities to recruit and retain hunters and recreational shooters, the Council connects broad and diverse segments of the sportsmen’s community to devise strategies that will introduce future generations to hunting and the shooting sports.
Through the Council structure, conservation organizations join state fish and wildlife agencies to discuss their collective experiences with new and emerging recruitment and retention strategies while also seeking to improve existing models. By interacting with these partners, CSF supports these efforts by ensuring that its network of state and federal legislators and governors have access to the most up-to-date information regarding the nation’s outdoor heritage.
