NASC Annual Summit Call for Proposals

The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) is seeking session ideas and participation from partners with an interest in the 16th Annual National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses Sportsman-Legislator Summit to help develop the conference agenda.

In particular, proposals for sessions during the two full days of educational programming are invited. Ideas for prospective keynote sessions and presentations during group meals at the conference are also welcome.

Session topics should address timely policy and programmatic issues and opportunities related to hunting, angling, recreational shooting, trapping, or other conservation issues. This year’s Summit theme is: “Partners Advancing America’s Conservation Movement: NASC, States, Industry and NGOs.”

CSF gives priority to recommendations or proposals that are consistent with the Summit theme and are relevant to state legislative sportsmen’s caucus members. The deadline for submissions is June 21, 2019. Simply visit JotForm to fill out the submission form.

Studies conducted at both the state and federal level have found that the number of hunters and trappers have been on a generally declining trend over the past several decades. To increase recruitment, retention, and reactivation (R3) of hunters and trappers, which initiative do you think would have the greatest impact?
