John Paul Morris grew up in the heart of the Ozarks in southwestern Missouri, where a deep connection to the outdoors was formed at an early age. Guided by his father, he spent countless days hunting and fishing, experiences that instilled a lifelong appreciation for conservation and a belief in leaving the land better for the next generation.
John Paul is deeply passionate about bowhunting, waterfowl hunting, and nearly any pursuit that takes him out of the office and into the great outdoors. These interests continue to shape both his personal life and professional mission.
He currently serves as Chief Customer Officer for the Great American Outdoors Group, which includes Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s, and White River Marine group. In this role, he is dedicated to serving outdoor enthusiasts and strengthening the connection between customers, conservation, and the outdoor lifestyle.
John Paul has previously served on the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation Board, where he remains a strong advocate for the mission of protecting and advancing the rights of sportsmen and women.
