(July 2026) – Washington, D.C. – The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF), the nation’s leading bipartisan organization working to protect and advance hunting, angling, recreational shooting, trapping, and professional fish and wildlife management, today announced that Alex Dove has joined the organization as the Assistant Manager, Federal Policy.

In this role, Dove will support CSF’s federal policy team by advancing legislative and regulatory priorities that protect and promote America’s outdoor heritage. He will work closely with Congress, federal agencies, and the sporting-conservation community to advocate for policies benefiting sportsmen and women nationwide.

“I’m incredibly excited to join the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation and contribute to an organization that has long been at the forefront of conservation policy,” said Dove. “Hunting and fishing have shaped who I am, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to help protect those traditions while working alongside such a talented and passionate team.”

Before joining CSF, Dove supported federal conservation policy initiatives at Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever, where he worked on legislative tracking, stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and communications efforts. Prior to that, he served as a Program Analyst at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, supporting policy and regulatory review across multiple program offices. Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from the University of South Carolina and is currently pursuing a Master of Natural Resources at Virginia Tech, with a focus on watershed management and conservation.

Growing up in a military family, Dove had the opportunity to experience the outdoors across the country. He spent his early years fishing for salmon in Alaska, snowboarding in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, exploring the forests and waters of Washington State, and enjoying the lakes and woodlands of upstate New York before eventually calling the Philadelphia area home. Those experiences instilled a lifelong commitment to conserving the lands, waters, and wildlife that make America’s outdoor traditions possible.

As an active sportsman, Dove’s experiences in the field continue to shape his commitment to science-based fish and wildlife management and conservation policy. He is excited to join the CSF team in advancing policies that benefit sportsmen and women nationwide.
