The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) welcomed Chief Executive Officer of Vista Outdoor Inc., Christopher Metz, to its Board of Directors.
Metz, who joined Vista Outdoor as CEO in 2017, brings more than 25 years of experience leading high-performing consumer products businesses. In addition to volunteering his time and resources in a three-year term on the CSF Board, he shares a passion for enhancing outdoor recreation as a hunter and angler.
“Vista Outdoor shares in CSF’s important mission to work alongside our stakeholders, including sportsmen-legislators, to ensure the strength of the outdoor recreation economy,” said Metz. “I look forward to working more closely with CSF in this new capacity to advocate for sound policies and to promote a commitment to conservation.”
Metz joins 31 other leaders from the sportsmen’s conservation community and allied industries, who all come from different backgrounds and share the passion for protecting and advancing hunting and fishing policies.
“As one of our long-time, supportive partners, we are honored to have Chris Metz join the CSF Board and continue our strong partnership with Vista Outdoor,” said CSF President Jeff Crane. “In addition to being an avid outdoorsman and conservationist, Chris Metz adds a valuable resource to the CSF Board that will help advance our mission.”
