Vista Outdoor’s President of Outdoor Products Joins Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation Board

The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) recently welcomed Dave Allen, Outdoor Products President for Vista Outdoor Inc., to its Board of Directors.

Allen joins 29 other leaders from the sportsmen’s community and allied industries who are committed to CSF’s mission of protecting and advancing hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping.

At Vista Outdoor, Allen is responsible for segment-level financial performance, strategic planning, innovation and new products, brand management and marketing, product line management, sourcing and supply chain management, capital expenditures, and R&D investment and returns, and talent management. He has worked in the outdoor product industry throughout his career, and joined Vista Outdoor in May 2016. Allen is also an avid outdoorsman during his free time and enjoys wing shooting ducks, pheasant and chukar.

“CSF is instrumental in protecting hunting, shooting and fishing rights for outdoor enthusiasts to pursue their passion,” said Allen. “I’m honored to join the board of directors and look forward to working with members of Congress, governors and state legislatures to further advance this important mission.”
