Marie joined the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) in October of 2023 and serves as the Senior Coordinator for the Northwestern States. Based In eastern WA, Marie works closely with the state legislative and gubernatorial sportsmen’s caucus members in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Washington, and Wyoming.
Marie comes CSF from the Inland Northwest Wildlife Council based in Spokane, WA. There she led the organization’s legislative, commission and governmental outreach efforts. Marie currently serves as Co-Chair of the Washington Fish and Wildlife Conservation Partnership and is also a member of the following WDFW Advisory Groups: Wolf Advisory Group (WAG), Washington Diversity Advisory Council (WDAC), Washington Shrub Steppe Recovery Initiative (WSRRI), Cougar Focus Group, CWD Roundtable Discussions, and was also recently appointed to the WDWF Budget and Policy Advisory Group (BPAG).
Prior to joining the team at the Inland Northwest Wildlife Council, Marie owned a taxidermy shop where she helped hunters and anglers preserve their favorite memories from the field.
Marie grew up in the Pacific Northwest where her family shared their passion for the outdoors. Every spare moment was (and still is) spent hunting, fishing, hiking, foraging, kayaking, swimming, target shooting, and camping.
