Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation’s (CSF) President Jeff Crane was recognized by Bass Pro Shops as a 2014 Conservation Partner of the Year. Crane received the award from Bass Pro Shops’ Founder and CEO John Morris during a special ceremony for associates, which was held at Bass Pro Shops national headquarters in Springfield, Missouri.
CSF and Bass Pro Shops share the vision of protecting and advancing our hunting and angling traditions and conserving our fish and wildlife resources for outdoor recreation in the future. CSF works with the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus, which includes nearly 300 members of the U.S. House and Senate, the National Assembly of Sportsmen’s Caucuses, which includes 44 state caucuses, and the Governors Sportsmen’s Caucus with nearly 30 governors, as the voice of the American sportsman.
“All of us at Bass Pro Shops are proud to recognize Jeff Crane for everything his organization has done to champion legislation that benefits conservation and our outdoor traditions,” said Morris. “The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation is one of the foremost organizations for making sure the sportsmen’s voice is heard on Capitol Hill as well as state capitals across the country.”
CSF is honored to have continued partnership and support from Bass Pro Shops as a Diamond-level Council Member. John Paul Morris, general manager for Bass Pro Shops’ online store and member of the RedHead Pro Hunting Team, is also a CSF Board of Directors member.
“The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) is honored to be recognized as a Conservation Partner of Bass Pro Shops. As a leading outdoor retailer, Bass Pro understands that conservation policy is vitally important to the future of our sporting heritage. By partnering with CSF, Bass Pro helps link the hunting and angling community to sportsman-legislators within our federal and state caucuses, who champion legislation benefitting conservation and our outdoor traditions. We look forward to building upon this partnership as we face the conservation policy challenges that lie ahead,” said Crane.
CSF looks forward to a continuing partnership with Bass Pro Shops, working towards the mission of protecting and advancing hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping in the halls of government.
