On July 9, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) traveled to Colorado to host the Conservation Classic at the Sanctuary Golf Course.
This event brought together members and supporters of the sportsmen’s conservation community for a golf tournament, followed by a reception, dinner, and auction. CSF Ambassador and country musician Lucas Hoge performed during the reception, and Congressman Mike Coffman joined to represent the Colorado delegation of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus.
“This event brings together two great American traditions: golf and wildlife conservation,” said CSF President Jeff Crane. “Colorado sportsmen and women are passionate about the state’s rich fish and wildlife resources – contributing $2.7 billion since 1939 – and the Sanctuary is a unique and special place where we can celebrate the state’s strong conservation programs.”
“Supporting groups like the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation is critical to ensuring conservation programs like those in Colorado are continued into the future,” said CSF Board of Directors member Chris Dorsey of Dorsey Pictures. “The CSF Conservation Classic is a great opportunity to support CSF and showcase the organization’s work in the western United States.”
